In view of the three months grace period announced by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to correct and legalize the residency status of the migrant labour, the following points are reiterated for the benefit of the Indian expatriate community in Saudi Arabia.
It is reiterated that NO amnesty has been declared by Saudi authorities so far. The Consulate is fully committed towards the wellbeing of Indian nationals and will continue to address issues of their concern within the framework of applicable Saudi laws. The 24-hour Consulate Helpline No. 0596810574(Mr. Badruddin) could be approached in case of need.
At present, the Consulate is only accepting application forms for Out Pass. Out Passes/ Emergency Certificates will be issued only after completions of formalities and after the Saudi authorities agree to grant permission for the final exit of the applicants.
It is reiterated that those who want to apply for Out Pass / Emergency Certificate need NOT to come to the Consulate especially for that purpose. They can download the application forms for Emergency Certificates from the Consulate website:

Please note that Drop Boxes have been opened at the Indian International Schools in Jeddah, Taif and Tabuk which can be made use of for submitting the applications. Similarly, Indian Nationals can approach our outsourcing agent BLS/FIFA Centres for getting application forms and submitting the same there itself free of cost at Jeddah, Abha, Yanbu and Medina.
In addition to that Members of the Coordination Committee of Welfare Associations (CCWA) can be contacted for help in this regard in the cities of Abha, Gizan, Najran, Yanbu, Qunfuza, Taif, Medina and Makkah. They have been requested to help in guiding the applicants and in collecting the filled in forms.
The Consulate General of India, Jeddah urges all Indian nationals not to panic based on rumours and to respect the law of the land in all matters and under all circumstances and abide by local rules and regulations for which they have been known to.
